Default Buffalo Bars

16" Black Buffalo Bars

I ALWAYS worried about getting bars that were too tall, so I went back and forth for months and months on whether or not I should do 12's, or just go for the 14's. My tech at the dealer, that I also ride with and shoot the breeze with from time to time, swore to me that I wanted 16's because of my height. Lets just say I'm sooooo happy I never got 12's. I sat on a stock street glide the other day, after riding about 6500 miles with the 16's on mine, and it made me wonder how I ever liked the bike at all with stock bars, since its such an uncomfortable ride.

Good lord how big are you?

I'm pretty sure mine are 12's. I'm 6'4" and my 12's fit me about the same as those 16's fit you.

Just a touch shorter than you. Drivers license says 6'2", but I'm about 6'3". I have long arms, but ya I did wonder how so many people had 12's that were my height and liked them. Do you like yours? Could you have them taller do you think? I'm curious now. If I had a buddy with a Street Glide with 12's Id try it just to see.

I love mine. I never thought about getting them taller. I've sat on a bike with 10's and didn't like it as much. I'm not sure if I want to try anything taller, maybe ignorance is bliss!!

How much lower do these look compared to yours?

Yours dont really look that much lower. I tried going through more pics and found one thats from a lower perspective, but still doesnt make it apparent that theres a 4" difference. It's almost like mine are so wide, and have so much pullback, that they go up, then come back down a touch. I'll have to get a picture like yours from the left side, to compare.

well, after putting a good bit of miles on my 13's....yes, owensmech, 16's would be much better. I'm 6'3" and they are a bit low for me. i could use another few inches up to make my arms level. i still like them, but i will change them out in the future, i'm pretty sure. main reason i went with these though is because i didn't have to change any of the cables out.

Carlini Electric Bagger 15" apes, I'm only 5'8" and they are super comfortable for me. I couldn't imagine going shorter.
