CVO Dash Trim Install

The CVO dash trim really helps to dress up the SG standard dash. I wish they had a gauge ring package that would work with this dash trim plate as well. I thought about buying the ones that have the tab and use a dremel to remove the tab and then use silicone to attach them.
When you speak of the ones with the tab, are you talking about the kit that has the 4 rings along with the black insert that covers the same area that the CVO trim covered in your pic? If that is the kit your talking about, I think it was in the $79 or $89 range, then I bought that kit last year and installed it on my CVO. I didn't use the insert, which has the slots that the tabs fit into, and I also did not have to grind off the tabs, because they fit inside of the gauge holes, I just lined them up and stuck them on the way they came. I thought it was too much to pay for some chrome around the outside edge of the gauges, but apparently it didn't stop me from doing it, I really wish they had (and they may have now) just the chrome pieces without the insert.

Guage trim panel part number differ
I just ordered the guage trim panel but on the HD website I got the part number as 61400284 and not 61400122A as said before. I hope it's the same thing. Did it change?
I also ordered the fuel tank console (77153-08) and CB pod medallion (14100385).
Has anyone put it on the amber whiskey colour? Just curious to what it's going to look like.
