Harley Davidson of Baltimore. They offer 20% off parts and 20% labor in November and December.

Is the inner fairing a do it yourself kind of job or is it best done by the dealer?

Easy job you just need to make sure the inner fairing is clean the trim uses double sided tape . Using some 3M activator for double sided tape will help it stick better .

If you are handy it can be done by you but it can be pretty intimidating. There is a thread on this site that will walk you through it step by step. Use the search function and you will find it. Good luck.

I let the dealer do mine. Tool back the other day. Since the handlebars I put on the bike are rubbing against the fairing. They are going to trim the fairing for the larger bars.

I'm not exactly sure Bill. I had alot of stuff done. 23 hours worth of labor. Call and get a quote. They offer 20% parts and labor in November and December. I saved a good bit there.
