I put the lowers on, of course I had to remove the fangs. The fangs did more for the buffeting than the lowers did. The new HD 2015 catalog has fairing mount deflectors for the 14 SGS's. I am going to try them next. I like the look of the lowers.

Don't have to remove the fangs with the lowers on. They will both work on the bike. The fairing mounts wings also work, had them on since I got the bike last year. Had to order them as parts (screws separate at $1.50 each)

Nice to see them as a kit now!

Thanks for the heads up, I was going from the info from the HD catalog which says the wont work together. I reinstalled them this morning and every thing works fine.

Default An alternative wind deflector

Someone else mentioned the soft lowers as an option... I like this option because I like a clean look to the bike, plus I don't have to install anything and yet I still get a lower amount of wind (not to mention RAIN! if you get caught in it these will deflect it!). They're easily removable, too, so for those times when I do want some air, they go into the saddlebag. Desert Dawgs are made in the USA...http://www.leadermotorcycle.com/dese...s-rain-guards/

Default Lowers

Don't know if they helped with the buffeting but they sure do look good and the price was right.
