How do you save a route on the Boom Boom Nav?
Searched what I could. Found answers from months ago that works if you do it 2 or 3 times for each one! Shouldn't be that difficult. At least they are saved to my recents folder.
FYI... Please type your answer real slow. I wanted the dealer to install the optional in dash 8 track player in place of the Boom Boom. He said they were fresh out of stock. :-(

Thanks... Guess nothing has changed. The procedure in the '15 manual is the same procedure I'm using. Takes 2 or 3 tries for it to actually go to the saved folder...
Maybe they will get that fixed when they learn what makes the Boom come on most of the time when the bike is started! It just won't stay off...

Red - perhaps I can help. Lets start with a fresh flash drive - this way I know that you have someplace to send the files.
Next, plan your route in ride planner. Once done - go to sync GPS.
After you hit sync, you want to click manual export to gox file.
Now when you go to save, please use the dropdown window and save the file to the flash drive. Also, name the file something like Red or Bike Trip or Tenn - just something to identify that particular file.
I think you will find that this will send the file right to your flash drive and you can then load it on your bike.
Let me know if I can help further.

I'm a tech dummy. Thought it was something I was doing wrong. And yes, I did ask the dealer about installing a 8 track. They said they would pick me one up at the Flea market but the install was my baby! :-/
I bought the SGS because of it's other features, not because of the Boom Boom.
