Default TBW limp mode

Ok I have read that many people have had the TBW limp mode on the earlier years.

Has anyone else had that problem with a 2014?
It has happened to mine at least 6 different times. Stop to get gas and fire it back up and no throttle. Switch it on and off several times jiggle the electrical plug by the throttle body and eventually after several tries it starts up and works fine.... till it doesn't...

Not me. My bike just does the EITMS thing at stops on hot days. Light turns green, it goes away.

Sounds like it's service time.

I had it once, no rhyme or reason. Started bike up, went for a ride and had no throttle. was about to return home and it came back and it ran great afterwards.. I talked to Service manager and he was clueless.. Crossing my fingers it doesn't do it again.

Yes for one it is embarrassing when with a group and now they have to wait for you... two I just hope the throttle never goes away while actually on the road!

Once, it's a freak occurrence. Twice, it's a problem and back to the shop it goes. 6 times, well......

Haven't had that happen yet to me. I have my EITMS activate everyday where I live at every stop. I have never had an issue.

It should have a stored code when it does it. You can read them without a scanner. That might get you headed in the right direction.

Recently a budy with a 2022 SGS, 114 had a limp mode happen. when reding about what is the "cause", when he took it to the dealer, they spent hours trying to find a problem. NOTHING.
the limp mode is a warning "in-case" there is a problem. it happend to me on a 2017. same results, nothing.

One tip was to pull positive battery cable, allow the bike to discharge, then hook back up. I'll try that if and when it happens again.
He got the bike back on Friday, we went on a 3 day 500 mile ride over the weekend.
No issue what so ever.
Gremlins.

Good Day~
