6.5 Infotainment GPS
#11
ok, im getting real sick of this gps.. i dont want to spend time complaining about the way this gps works... right now id be happy if someone can tell me how to shut off the voice navigation.. i attempted to send the sound to the headphones (which i dont have) but it keeps pausing my music to tell me 15 freaking times to turn ahead.. i find it hard to believe we cant stop it from interrupting the music... am i just slow?

With the map up and route planned there's zoom in out on the left and on the right is a button that looks like a bulleted list hit that and STOP is the first option. I like the gps voice nav but hate how it interrupts my music fully for the directions. It is very intrusive.

i fully understand how to stop the gps from it's intended route with the stop button (took 15 min of a ride but i figured that out... What im trying to find out is how to shut that B*tch up... STOP INTERRUPTING MY MUSIC..... anyone able to help??? i wont even use the gps because of her voice... and the whole reason i upgraded to the 6.5 was so i could keep my handlebars clean of accessories..

Use this link to learn the Infotainment system from the safety of your lazyboy, not the road. It has some pretty good information, not everything but enough to get you familiar with how it works.

It's actually pretty cool. If you pull it up on a tablet, you can touch the buttons like you would on your bike. For me, going through the motions and actually doing it rather than being shown helps me retain it in memory better. Like I said, it doesn't show you everything but it does show you how to get around the system pretty good.
