The fact that it came on my Limited had NOTHING to do with my buying the bike. Just like the CB. Will probably never use either. I figure the GPS will maybe save my bacon one day when Im lost, or get me to a gas station if need be. Other than that, I have no need or use for it.

It aint the greatest, but nobody ever said it was. And most didn't bother to ask before buying.
I agree; although I wanted a CB and on-board GPS - but there are other bikes out there with those features. I bought a Harley this time around for a lot of reasons; those being two but not the most important two. I'll use both; in my very limited experience (pun intended) they are working fine.

Yep, I understand what you are saying, but...

Unless it was (officially) advertised as having a feature that it doesn't, (like unlimited waypoint routing, for instance) then it *is* doing what it should.

Uninformed salesperson pitches aside, wanting a feature that isn't available doesn't mean that it's not performing as it should.

If it is broken, then it would not be working as it should, as one example of my meaning.

That said, I also would like a few features of the GPS and Infotainment systems to be different than they are as-delivered.

All the best,

Shane

If you say so.

But, it sounds to me like you could add a Garmin unit to a Harley and have all the things you want. Conversely, you could throw all the Euros in Germany at your BMW and your girlfriend still wouldn't like it.

FWIW, Harleys, BMWs and KTMs are my 3 favorite motorcycles. They all excel at certain things. But I will say this - the KTM and BMW are birth control. Chicks dig the Harley.

Do they have an Infotainment system? I thought they had a radio like everyone else and a place to mount a Garmin - like last years Harleys.

Glad I'm not the only one that sees it that way.
