Default Front end dive

I have a 2014 FLHTK and I am wondering if anyone has a fix for the front end dive that occurrs when you apply the brakes. I came off of a Goldwing that has a valve in the forkes that stops the dive. I guess I can get uses to it but if there is a fix ??????

Progressive Monotubes fixed it for me.
Don't know if they have one for your 14 yet.
Call em and see.

The H-D Premium Single Cartridge front fork eliminated the nose dive for me as well as much improved overall handling.

The stock touring front suspension has that over cushy, pogo stick-like, old caddy-like ride that many like. If you prefer a more sporty, controlled ride, the Progressive mono tubes or the H-D single cartridge kit are the ticket.

Cheapest route to go would be to replace the fork oil with heavier weight. You should be able to swap it out in a hour or less.

I don't mind the ride, just don't like the dive. Thanks guys, I will look into a cartridge change.

Go ride a pre-14 bike for a day. After that you'll be thrilled with the lack of front end dive your bike has.

Absolutely agree , I put mono tubes in my 2010 and I think my 14 stock is close to the mono tube ride

Did you swap out your fork oil? I am interested in doing that myself. Just wondering if the ride got too harsh. Thanks.

That's what I did with my old Yamaha Road Star. i put 30 wt in it and they did a world of wonders. No diving at all after that.
