I posted this last month, there were some bikes that came with the latest and greatest update from Harley right from the factory, of the dealer tried to flash it as part of the new bike set up with a older version it wipes the data for the nav... Can't say that's what happened to,yours, but it was exec aptly what happened to mine

I sure hope your dealer didnt charge you a "set up" fee cause they owe you if so.

So where is this elusive .5 update. Special appointment and handshake necessary? It's sure not on the website...

I'm thinking its a stop gap and the real release to fix things up is going to be the v18.0.0

(what a dreamer I am...LOL)

Just got off the phone with them and they have no clue, said they will have to talk to Harley Tech support for suggestions on Tuesday. I won’t have the time to bring in in Tuesday. So it will just sit.

Yep, Happened to me. I got the .5 from Jake and it wiped my nav and caused my screen to not boot until 5 minutes after I powered the bike on. I'm not saying it's a bad file, but I'm thinking these units are just screwy. I had to downgrade and it came back.

Smitty

for those having problems, Id try to reload .4 or try .5 again

I get that sometimes. Go out with a full tank, nav is running fine. Stop 5 minutes to fill up couple of hours later, start the bike back up,and boom, nav not ready. Next time it's turned off and restarted it works.
