Default New 14 Ultra Limited

Hi everyone, I am new to the Harley world after 9 years on a Goldwing. I just purchased a new 14 Limited. I have alot to learn and hope this forum can help me get through my new adventure. One question is the seat feels awful to me what is a good replacement over stock? Iam 6"1 and 250 there has to be a more comfortable option out there. Thanks Bob

Welcome from Texas. You'll get plenty of advice on the forum, wanted and even unwanted at times. I have no problem with my stock seat but everyone is different in size, shape, and form. Recently, some have gone with '13 model Hammock. Others send them off to Mean City Cycles for a custom seat mod. According to many forum members, MCC does awesome work.

Welcome, you'll enjoy that ride for sure. As many of us have done, sent mine to MCC for a mod and am very happy. Do a search on this forum and check out MCC as well and you'll figure out what will work for your needs.

Welcome from California. Congratulations on your purchase. I also own 14 Limited and want a better seat. Next month I am going to check out " Russell Day Long motorcycle seats" outside of Redding California. They have a great reputation. They build seats to fit and offer real leather as a option. They also offer a comfort guarantee.

Bubbak - welcome to the Harley world - form Michigan and a previous Wing Rider. I rode Wings from 1982 until 2004 - am a GWRRA life member

I too have a 14 Limited.... might I suggest you ride it for a short time before changing the seats. This is my third Ultra - and have never changed the seat.

Congrats of your new 14 limited. Most dealerships have seats they will allow you to use for a couple of days to try before you buy.

CONGRATS on the new ride. As many have mentioned, MCC is FANTASTIC to deal with. My Dealer has numerous seats in the Showroom. They allow you to "test" ride everyone of them. Those are two options....
