Good idea on the jumper to connect the existing wiring.I cut the plugs off mine and hard wired them together.So the CD light normally connects to the 3 pin connector in the upper left of the tail light?

 

I just ordered mine from CD. '14 SGS- no triple play for '14 which is fine for me. They said it does running and brake only.

There is a wire plugged in there now. I unplugged it, nothing changed. Must be a dummy plug to keep dirt out (and wires are only run to ground and running lights)

There is power in the middle pin for brake, which is not used. I tried the light and it works. Just waiting for the jumper.

Don't mind splicing wires, but have to do the wife's bike too. She would not be pleased if I just wacked off the ends on her new bike!

 

I thought you could buy an extra module to allow for all 3 on the 2014's?

 

Just got an update....just as I hoped, they will be making a jumper between the two harnesses, with a pigtail that the light will just plug in to.

Gonna be a quick change over now.

 

According to CD there is no triple play for the '14s yet.

 

I believe the wires plugged in there now is for your tag light.

 

That's awesome.They'll sell bunch of those jumpers to us Canucks.Wish I would have waited a few weeks.

 

Just finished installing my tri-bar with the triple play ( that is a must have on the 10-13's do to how they're wired) I still need to tone down the running lights a bit, I'll do it later after dark. I like the full contrast turn signals( bright/off /bright ) I probably end up going with the four flash then solid brake,but for now I have the blaster X for 3 seconds then solid.

I'am ordering the tri-bar light for my 2015 street glide and would like to see a picture of the jumper wire you have to see if it fits my Canadian model
