Sorry, i didn't really get the TP being Tour Pack (i guess), anyway, great quality build seat, covering marine grade vynal, but it so soft and you stay planted in the seat, not constricted, you have fore and aft room to move, but your not sliding around.

Low profile seats are not going to be comfortable like a touring seat, however, 4 guys, two parts, two service guys at HD dealer wanted to sit on it and all of their comments were very positive, beautiful seat and really has some padding for comfort, we should carry these.

The name is day tripper, so i rode 75 miles yesterday and it felt very good, 400 miles not sure.

How's it compare to a stock SG seat?

I liked the stock seat, but i wanted to get my feet flat on the ground, Harley reduced reach seat are a no go, they smash your nuts., and the look was not for me.

The the stock seat offers more padding, probably more comfort on the 400 mile day, but this mustang seat was very comfortable, i don't know if it needs breaking in, but it felt good.

I feel better getting my both feet down with ease and, there is no comparison quality or looks, the pan bed is solid the covering is held on with rivets, just another level in quality.

No doubt the same quality throughout their line.

I am fully aware of that.

I posted pics of mine to show where the "gaps" would be, as my aftermarket is also from a pre-14.

I have the Mustang sport touring seat # 489070 on my SGS. It is narrower in the front which allows me to get my feet flatter on the ground.. As i am only 5' 8'. I payed $488.18 Canadian including tax. I have 1500km on it so far and it feels great and also had one on my previous bike.

Did you get the standard or softer foam? Sure looks good, how long was the wait and how long ago?

slandered I think ( first impression is it is like sitting on a brick ) but it is very comfortable the longest ride so fare was 450 in one day with no problem ( 1.3 hr on the wretched stock seat was the best I could do ) I think it took about 2 weeks to come in and that was end of may beginning of June took longer for the arm rest
