If it was SO dangerous, you would think they would put out a "DO NOT RIDE", and make arrangements to have the bikes towed in, but that's how many tow bills? So I guess they'll deal with the inevitable law suits. I was planning on bringing mine in on Tuesday anyway for a CB install, so hopefully I survive the trip over there...After I ride tomorrow that is.
Thanks for the Macho man image from some posters. Gave me a good laugh.

WOW dude that trust fund has really gotten you twisted backwards in reality! Just my opinion but hey....

Your info is truly untrustworthy and for sure unreliable
They are talking about the October 2013 Clutch recall, it did include a"Do Not Ride" order. The MoCo sent out emails, letters and the dealers called customers to advise them of the recall and that your dealer would pick up the bike do the repair and return it to you. Look at the date on those post. They are from July, two months before the current recall was announced.

Have you ever actually ridden a Harley?

You are seriously going to pull a post from over 2 months ago, and act like it was posted reference the latest recall which came out, what, about a week ago?

I must have one hell of a crystal ball.

EVERYONE that owned a 2014 touring bike with a hydraulic clutch in October, 2013 got at least one phone call, at least one email, and a letter by mail. This thread was after that.

I don't know what "dealerships" you spoke with, but apparently it wasn't any last October.
