I'm riding my bike just like I did last week and the week before, just like I did before the recall was announced. I figure it's the same bike I rode last week and didn't think twice about. Sure I want to get it fixed ASAP for the peace of mind but I'm not going to just park it until parts come in that the dealer wants to install on my bike instead of their inventory..lol

Bad weather so i had to reschedule, but going to be good weather tomorrow for a ride. Then maybe Tuesday or Wednesday for the fix. Clutch has always felt smooth.

Put over 200 miles on the bike the weekend before I found out about the recall, didn't realize how much danger I was in. To compound the issue, I fully intend to ride my bike the 30 miles to the dealer for the recall.

Then again, I am a bad ***.

over the last 35+ years of riding I have had at least 4-5 clutch cables break with no warning so really no difference.
But that is what the brakes and kill switch is for.

Yes...That's what we're talkin' about...Since 09/08/14.

If it was SO dangerous, you would think they would put out a "DO NOT RIDE", and make arrangements to have the bikes towed in, but that's how many tow bills? So I guess they'll deal with the inevitable law suits. I was planning on bringing mine in on Tuesday anyway for a CB install, so hopefully I survive the trip over there...After I ride tomorrow that is.
