It's personal preference and my choice as I said to insure my bike is protected. I also like playing with my bike on the lift.

More like at 500, 1000, 4000, 6000, 7000, 10000, 11000, 13000, 15000, 16000, 19000, 20000, 22000, 25000.......

If you want to put your mind at ease send an oil sample to a lab like Blackstone for an oil analysis at 2500 miles. I think you'll be surprised with the results and will skip the 2500 mile interval from that point forward.

I agree with the UOA.

Maybe I work too much, because when I'm not at work, I ride.

In my humble opinion, it's silly to spread the intervals out like that.

If you want to change oil at 3, do it, then the rest at 6. Or 2500 and 5000. Or 5000 and 10000.

I park my bike on the lift, but that doesn't mean I want to drop fluids every time I go out there....

I just did my 1,000 (at 1,400 miles) and I even think that was premature when running modern synth. All 3 oils were very clean visually, even the primary which by nature gets the dirtiest, fastest. IMO, the first could very easily be at 2,500 with no ill effects whatsoever. Then, 5,000, 10,000 and so on.

I buy into the logic that a motor will wear in faster/better running Dyno oil for the first 1,000 miles then synth thereafter. But the bike came with synth in it so that's what I ran.

It is not "freshness sealed"

It's oil.
It oxidizes once its opened up. It is freshness sealed. Ever notice theres a vacuum in the bottle and then when you open it, the bottle expands.
