does anyone know if the fairing lowers/glovebox, whatever you call them over there, from pre-rushmore bikes, fit the 14's.??
want to buy a set, but harley want me to sell a kidney first.
pre-14 second hand ones are very cheap, but no one on this side of the pond knows if they will fit.

Hi, I bought some Chinese ones, I will be putting it on my '14 SERK and let you know.

 

As I understand, it is the same engine guard, thus, pre-14 should fit.

 

I don't have them myself but there are several threads where guys have installed them.

 

I have a 14 ultra that came with lowers but if I was buying I would get the earlier model. I worry about those soft touch doors on the new ones. I've seen a lot of autos with those things broken.

Moved them over from my '12

Added 7" speakers to them also.

I had to get a pair for the wife's SGS and asked her which she would like. We both agreed that the new style are harder to latch.

We did install the magnetic latches to the old ones. So we ended up painting the old ones. We could not order the old style in amber whiskey.
