Default Flipping mirrors below handlebars

Ok, so I put on Chubby 10" mini apes. Got some Harley teardrop mirrors to replace the fairing mounted mirrors. Because of the extra width and pullback of the bars every time I lean forward when I get off my boob hits the left mirror. So I thought I'll just flip them under. When I tried that all I could see in them was the ground. I couldn't adjust them any higher.

What am I doing wrong??

you're getting off the wrong side of the bike. south of the mason/dixon, you have to get off the high side of the bike

Try to rotate switch housings and levers so that mirrors can be adjusted.

We're going to need a video of the boob hitting the mirror to fully understand the situation.
