Default Best sounding slip ons for Street Glide Special

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a New Street Glide Special. Really like the Rhinehart 4in slip ons but got a chance to see one with the V&H high Outputs. Which sounds better and what made you choose one over the other?

RUSH Racing 4" Big Louies

I love the sound, and baffles are simple to change if you want louder/quieter.

I am currently running 2" baffles, behind RUSH Ceramic True Duals.

.....never could get on the bandwagon with Rhinehart or V&H.

IMHO, best thing for you to do is go hang out at the dealer, and listen to others' bikes. When you hear what YOU like, ask what they're running.

Sound is subjective, what I like, you may hate, and vice versa....

My 2 cents.

You will get lots of opinions! It's completely personal preference.

I like both pipes you mentioned however, I went with CFR's. Once I heard them in person that's the sound I wanted.

My bike and pipe in this video. All videos do not to ANY of the pipes justice. Try to get to a bike night and listen live to the ones you are considering.

Talking Which Exhaust to choose

Ok here is my 2 cents as well Had 4" Rinehart's on my 2011 Limited with V&H power duals. Loved the sound at HWY speeds not too loud.

2014 Limited Same V&H Power Duals went with V&H 4.5" High Out Put
deeper sound for sure ,but wish I had went with the Rinehart's on this bike as well. the High out puts are a Little loud at HWY speeds.

By end of the day ears are ringing LOL all a matter of what you want?

On my 07 SG & now on my 14 SGS I went with V&H Monster Rounds. Nice low rumble at idle, a decent bark when at WOT but a mild rumble when going down the road.

On my '09 FLHT Stage VI I ran Cobra Powerport Headpipes with CFR slip-on's, on my '14 SG I'm running the exact same setup, Low rumble at idle, fairly mellow at cruise speeds and down right ear splitting at WOT!...

All depends on what you like, I suggest you go to a local bike night or your local dealer and see what guys are running, most will be happy to let you listen to their setup, then you can decide on the sound that you like best.

4" Rineharts is my favorite sounding followed by the CFR's and then the MGS.

100% a personal choice
I will say I love my Rineharts, I have Vance and Hines header as well, great sound and performance... If you like them, go for it, otherwise find a bike night somewhere close and hang out and just listen till you hear something you like

4" Rineharts on my 2014 Limited. Perfect combination of low end rumble and bark. Not too loud. Your mileage may vary.
