Can someone please post a picture of 8" apes on a SGS? I'm leaning towards the LA Chopper Twin Peaks and would like to see them on a SGS.

8" apes? Never heard of such a thing, the rise on the stock handlebars is like 7.5. I'm not sure you would be able to tell the difference. The shortest mini-apes I know of are 10".

 

I suppose technically they wouldn't be apes but LA Choppers makes their Twin Peaks Bagger Bars in 8", 10", 12" etc. I like the height of the stock bars but I much prefer the shape and look of the Twin Peak bars. Most bar manufacturers size their bars differently, Paul Yaffe 10" Monkey Bars are more like 12" bars. I'm not sure how the LA Chopper bars are sized so I was curious to see how they look behind the fairing.

When i was looking for bars I seen the ones your talking about, I believe. But I know they didnt fit the '14s. You may want to double check that. Lots of bars for earlier models don't Fit. The tank is closer to the fairing now. I got a pair of10' wild 1 chubby bagger apes. Went with those because they were the most narrow of what i was able to find for the '14s. Waiting to het mine installed.

Come on now, someone must have a picture. I've searched Google and can't find a single picture of 8" Twin Peak bars.

I don't have a picture of 8" chimps but that is damn funny...I don't care who you are! Now I have to go to the LA CHops website just to see what you are talking about.
