2014 ABS brakeline recall
Just a heads up, saw another poster on the Touring section mentioning this and see where it's on the HD website so thought I'd put it here on the Rushmore section.
Recall Notice: 0157NANRCL:2014 TOURING ABS BRAKELINE
Check your VIN to see if you fall under this.

The following list contains the campaign number and a brief description:
Recall Notice:*0157NANRCL:2014 TOURING ABS BRAKELINE
We strongly urge you to take your motorcycle to your dealer to have the appropriate service performed as soon as possible. Should you choose to ride your motorcycle prior to this service, we urge you to be aware of this condition. Some product campaigns may have expired and you may have to pay for the service. Please see your local Harley-Davidson dealer for further details.
Thanks for the heads up. This is what I copied from the HD site.

After selecting Owners tab and signing in to your profile it shows the recall, in addition to any closed recalls or product programs specific to your bike based on the VIN.

Just called Mile High in Denver to check up on this. As stated already, some brake lines could be pinched under tank if routed improperly. Indication will be if it feels like front brake is dragging the bike when brake lever not engaged. Seat and tank are removed for inspection. If damaged they order part and will need to keep the bike for a couple days. I have not felt any drag so am going to wait for 5k service to get the inspection done....month or so more. Thx for the heads up. Mile High didn't even know about it until I called; new recall. Said they haven't seen any bikes w/ this problem yet either. One of those better safe than sorry recalls sounds like.
