This might not be the location, but when I had my '14 FLHR tank off to install heated grips, I noticed the brakelines to the right of the center electrical channel were loose. There's a clip they fit into, and that clip snaps into the right side of the electrical wire tunnel. I tied mine with a nylon tie to the bracket and put the tank back on.

Edit: Also inspect the two plastic channels for the three brake lines visible just to the rear of the right front tank bolt with the tank on. I tied them together in the channels with another tie.

 

I am leaving for The Tail tomorrow morning... I took my tank loose and had my son hold it up while I inspected the brake lines... everything looked good and in it's place... I don't need this crap right now..

WOW My SGS was just built a month and a half ago and its on the recall

 

Yup, mines on the list. Just had it in for the 1000 mile service last Wednesday. That sucks.

 

Anyone else had trouble logging on the site? Mines had "the spinning wheel of death" trying to find out if mines been recalled for about 15 minutes.....

 

It was screwed up late last night, doesn't seem to be working now either. Can't log into HOG, too.

 

Don't try to go in via the "recall information" on the "owners" tab. Link seems to be down. I was able to get the info by going through "my profile" on the home page and yep, mine is on the list...crap.

 

So correct me if am wrong but we have to find out about recalls on a forum on a high dollar machine because Harley chooses just to put it on the website instead of sending out a notice, I very seldom even go to the website, thanks for posting since that looks like the only way I would have known that my bikes on the recall.
