I have looked through all my owners manuals that came with the bike and can find no referance to the OPTIMIZE selection button under NAV set-up....what the hell does it do? Also the nav system itself does not seem to be very accurate, by this I mean the routes it tells me to go are goofy with the settings I have input in the NAV set-up...ie: fastest route does not work correctly for example also sometimes the NAV can be off by 800 yards especially looking for dealerships. Any help?

 

I called the MC today and found out it does nothing and should not even be there...possibly new software will remove it, but it does nothing.

 

You're talking about the whole GPS system right?
I know my GPS does nothing and is worthless

 

I collect poker chips and know what you mean about many of the dealerships final destination being a little off. Now sure if the address are incorrect or what.
I notice anytime the GPS (Nav-A-Bitch) has a U-turn in the directions it really means right turn. I'm not talking about missing a turn and Nav-A-Bitch suggest a U-turn to go back to what you missed. I'm talking about a u-turn in the original directions. Most of the time it was the last direction for a dealership telling me to make a U-turn. Usually around the spot (within a 1/4 mile or so) where the Nav-A-Bitch tells me to make a U-turn the dealership we be on the right.

I have over 15k miles on my limited and use the Nav-A-Bitch a LOT. Overall I really like it BUT it does have some BUGs.

Nav-A-Bitch! How true. I call mine a POS! The other day my 14 limited told me to make a right turn now, while on a bridge crossing a river.

 

I call mine Harlette. My favorite is when it wanted me to do a u-turn on the screen and Harlette said "take a sharp left". Yeah! A VERY sharp left!

 

Mine is Lucille....a Lucille would ride your *** and nag you until you do what she said and never admit she was wrong.
