All three of the bikes are lit up like UFO's at night and are highly visible during daylight. Yes, the beam angle on the WG is a bit narrow for fast cornering at night. No flashes from oncoming traffic, but there's no doubt in my mind that I'm WAY more visible than with stock lamps. My feeling PROPERLY ADJUSTED led lamps are arguably one of the most effective safety investments one can make.

Just my $0.02
No confusion. Read carefully, the daytime visibility issues are associated with Reflector style lights. This is why I run CD Dynamic Ringz with my TL Phase 7 light.

Good information in this thread.

I had a Daymaker on my 13 Fatboy Lo and didn't think too much of it.

I think the Dual Halogen headlight on my 15 SGS is great. There are a lot of other things I'd spend $500 on to improve. But then again, I ride less than 5% of the time at night.

It seems that during the day, the truck lite has a direct light pattern, while the LED cree's H1, and daymaker can be seen from all angles. At night, all are better than stock IMO.

There is no need for an anti flicker harness on the 2014+ bikes.
I hope my local dealership keeps these in stock. The harness that the online store recommended doesn't fit and I'm too pissed to fool with putting the stock light back in. Guess I'll wait til tomorrow to finish

Just took first night ride after adjusting headlight and passing lamps on '14 Limited, also had dealer flash bike to have passing lamps stay on with high beam... Much improved...

I'm a pretty careful reader (12 years of post-graduate education helps!) and in fact, there is MUCH confusion not only on this thread but several other LED lighting threads. And yes, most of the complaints regarding daylight visibility concern the reflector style headlights. I have no personal experience with them, so I can't make a statement other than what I've read. I DO have experience with projector style LED amps AND their proper alignment on not one, but 4 different bikes, and alignment is CRITICAL to seeing and being seen regardless of ambient lighting conditions.

My question is, has anyone ran tl passing lights with a daymaker projector headlight?
