I traded in a 1999 electra glide classic.
I went to the backofthegragon on my 99, traded in, then made a round trip from Greenville, SC to Tazewell, Va thru Rt 16 and back, 580 miles on the 2014 amber whiskey and black ultra limited.
I noticed these things
* The brakes are powerful, I realized I was one finger front braking thru the turns.
* Aggressive riding thru pretty stout turns resulted in no floor board scraping
* Cruise control was a dream on the highway, but I kept trying to wave with my right hand, since this is the first time I have ever been able to rest my right hand while riding
* The 103 motor is a "beast", absolutely loved the power and torque.
* It's quite, I can hear the radio
*South bound Harley, got your ears on, that is so cool chit chattin eating up the miles.
* Telling the GPS to head home, and it calculates a route, while riding, priceless
* Calling wife unit, informing when I will be home, also spectacular while riding
* The ONLY thing I do not like is no room for my coffee cup on the handlebars, which I had and used for 15 years on the 1999.
* My daymaker headlights were pointed in the dirt, but adjusting to max height is now acceptable. (My 1999 had HID headlights and spotlights, and absolute flood of light on my way to work @ 4am.
To me, this is a HD home run, and I will never look back.
Test ride one, you will feel the same.

At this point in the game, I would suggest that you wait a couple of months and see what the '15's have to offer. If there is not much there, you might get a good deal on a "left over" '14.

As usual, there are some color changes for the 2015's. You may prefer them over the 2014 colors.

After a recent LONG trip on my '13 RK, I decided to trade in for a '14 FLHTCU. Don't want water cooled, but did want linked brakes and the extra storage of the tour pak. I previously had an '05 FLHTCI and miss the fairing. The '14 is so much more refined than the '05, and the HO 103 feels far more powerful than the 103 on my RK. Broke down and got the upgraded touch screen. Wife is surrendering her XL883 and she needs the back seat couch...It's only fair.

Should take delivery in about 10 days...Big Blue Pearl/Vivid Black
