Did that exact setup 3 weeks ago and yes you feel like you are on a different bike.
Obviously the most notable change will be the sound, I went with the 4" slash ups (they follow the bag line) and I love them. You will notice more torque and more power, but what I noticed the most was taking off from a dead stop you dont feel like almost have to feather the clutch anymore, that always bothered me.
