Default Removed passenger boards-now what?

I ride solo and decided that the passenger boards where not very pleasing to look at and as they serve no purpose now I removed them.

Unfortunately what's left behind is also not very good looking. Its a black bracket with holes and I haven't been able to find any aftermarket cover or plate to dress it up.

Has anyone seen such a thing or have any ideas - otherwise I think the floor boards are going back on.

Thanks.

In the past I've removed the whole board/bracket assembly and plugged the holes with metal chrome or black plastic hole plugs available at the hardware store.

What he said..... Found mine at Lowe's. The bottoms one is a different hole for some reason. Put a dab of black touch up paint or silicone and push the plug in. The brackets just disappear...

Mine were removed for solo riding also and my mechanic installed polished 12 point bolts. Looks goodie I do say so myself. I can post a pic if you need it?

I put chrome Allen bolts in the holes and then chrome Allen head toppers.

I used small plastic plugs from Lowes, about $3 total cost...

Not to "hi-jack" this thread by any means, but WOW craving94509, that is one SWEET looking Streetglide! VERY nicely done. I've owned two Streetglides in the past, and have won a few Shows over the years. Yours is a beauty to say the least!

Now, back to the topic.......
