Default Gap in vent

I took the outer fairing off to install some HIDs and when I put the fairing back on I noticed a gap on each side of the vent section where the two come together. I don't know if this gap was there before I took the fairing off or not. If it was I didn't notice it. I took it off again to make sure nothing was holding it apart and did not see anything. It fits flush in the front and there are no gaps elsewhere that I can see. Does anyone else notice a similar gap?
