One shock compressed 1/8" more than the other
Hello all! I hope everyone is enjoying their 2014's as much as I am.
I did discover something though that doesn't make me happy. I was upgrading my air shocks to a set of Legend Revo's. When I was taking the air shocks off and installing the revo's I found out that one shock is compressed 1/8" more than the other. I don't know if the shock contact points on the swing arm were welded on incorrectly or if one of the shock spuds on the frame itself is welded on higher or lower. I had to jack up on the rear tire to get the bolts out of one shock and then let the jack down to get the second shock off. It was just as disturbing to get one shock bolted on and then have to jack up on the rear tire in order to get the bolts started on the second shock. I've changed a few shocks on other bikes and once one shock is bolted on the bolts on the second shock always slip right in.
Has anyone encountered anything like this on your 2014?
I'm going to mention it to the service manager at the dealer but I'm sure I'll hear "Yea, that's normal"
Ride safe and best wishes!!

That's good to hear, I've never had it happen before. I actually changed the shocks at the end of last season and kind of forgot about it until today. I put a set of progressive's on a buddy's sporty today and the bolts slipped right in on both sides and then I thought about how it went with mine.
