Default Anyone buy the Siren and remote pager?

I wondered why a $400 security system needs a $90 siren to complete it.

IS it worth getting. I think most people ignore vehicle alarms. Seems the Siren is plug and play as well.

I want to order a another key fob as well to gut and keep in my wallet. Dealer wants $45 to program but some say it can be done using a service manual.

I bought the siren & remote just another level. Mainly when I'm in a place I can't visibly monitor the bike.

Yeah I have them on my Kutter "wish list" The rear Electra Glo run turn lights are first. I am waiting for the PDF to make sure I can install them.

I have the smart siren II and the pager. For some reason I can't ever get the pager to shut all the way off, it's always on stand by and runs the battery down quickly. I'm beginning to think it was a waste of money.

It seems like the siren runs my bike battery down when it's not been ridden. I wish I could have gotten the old style security system where you turn the alarm when you want it on.

Nobody pays attention to car alarms. Other than just wishing the dam thing would shut-up.

You can buy the same alarm system aftermarket for a small fraction of the Harley cost.

To get the pager to turn all the way off, you need to hold down on the power button for about 5 seconds. I think you hear a series of two or three beeps, indicating that it is off.

Yea I got them. To use the pager you had to upgrade the security system. The siren is included with upgraded security. Cost me $300 including installation. Pager works pretty good. Just threw me off when the second green light would stop blinking after a while but the system will still wake the pager if bike moved or uprighted.
