So, I guess I need to go ahead and sell these or attempt to modify. Anyone looking for a set, send me a PM. I can save you a couple of bucks.

The longer this goes on the weirder it gets. You have P/N 67800367 Custom Auxillary Lighting Kit, correct, for a 2014 FLHXS? Why did you come up with the above bracket numbers? That's for a pre-'14 bike.

You have a 2014 Amber Whiskey SGS I believe, which takes the part I mentioned. Not to argue, but what kit's on your bike? The fangs still may not fit, don't know.

With all the positive reviews I bought a pair and am anxious to give them a try, hopefully this weekend.

On my previous SG I tried numerous windshields, fairing air deflectors and the "ashtray" between the forks and while I was able to improve the buffeting, it was still annoying especially on long trips, day after day.

If these things work, I'll find a way to LOVE the look.

Your right. Copied the wrong thing. Can't find anything that says this wont work, but can't see how it does. Not sure if I can enlarge the deflector hole back a bit to try an get a little rear rotation to let the aux. light mount line up. May end up hitting the bar at full turn if I do that.

Ok I just wanted to check we were on the same page. There should be some slack in both the aux light attachment and certainly in the deflectors. I just now installed a set on my '14 RK and had to fiddle with the light bar and deflector to get it to clear the rear of the running lights and miss the engine bar. There's about 3/16" between both now, so it does take some adjusting.

Also you can bend the fang against its attachment portion once tightened down. I had to do that on the earlier design. No big deal. Wrap a cloth around a big crescent wrench had move it carefully, or just use your hands or a rubber hammer and cloth. Grinding away some of the holes is also an option to get more movement.

I bet there's more wiggle room in the assembly than you're seeing. Bolt it up loose, bend and move as required, tighten it down, then warp the fang to fit front and back.

Based on this picture PA1195 is correct. This is the mistake I was referring to in my earlier post as well. The deflector in your hand needs to be turned around and mounted on the other side. The shiny side will be facing you as you sit on the bike. With the HD deflectors the 90 degree V-shaped bend in the metal should be facing forward...towards the road. I had these on my Heritage and made the same mistake on my first install attempt. It should not hit your lowers or engine guard with bars fully turned but if it does that would be a design flaw. In which case you could still check out jecustomaccents. His deflectors sit below all the lights. In the pics below you will notice that the 90 degree bend (V shape) actually faces the rider on his version (like how you have it in your pic above). There is also a slight forward bend at the outer edge thus keeping it from hitting when the bar is turned. Hopefully all this will be easier seen in these pics.

In this first pic from the front you can see the cut of his deflector brings it down below both the aux light and the bullet turn signal. You can also just make out the crease in the metal where it bends forward to ensure it will never hit the lowers or engine guard.

In this second pic from a side angle you can see where the 90 degree V-shape faces the rider on his version (if this were the HD version they would be backwards and would have to be placed on the other side where the 90 degree would face forwards). The upper part of the deflector bracket secures behind all the light bar hardware up against the fork itself. Light brackets go over the top of the deflector mount. You can see here where there is no interference with any light, and you can still see that forward bend I was talking about.

Here is a look at the HD fang on my Heritage. Different part # but same concept. It's not the easiest to see but you can tell if you look close the 90 degree turn of the fang mounting piece is facing towards the road. So in other words if I'm sitting on the bike looking at the fang, I would only see the shiny, flat side of it and wouldn't really notice where it makes a right angle.

Well good, there's other options detailed by Shep68. I had considered that product on another bike. Very well made and supported. Time to ride.

Might look at the bending back or maybe enlarging hole to let it drop down half an inch. Thanks for the help so far guys.

OK, so it is possible. They hit my guards about an 1/8th of an inch from full travel on each side because I had to bend them back to clear the lights, so we will see. Went for a quick ride. Do very well up to 80. I need about 1 inch higher on my windshield for the perfect ride.
