Guess I have an extra windshield now. I am ok with that.

I can't believe how much of a difference the fangs make. Really nice!

Another way to stop buffeting is to install a fork bag to the front light bar. I use a HD soft leather one (P/N 91773-85) and use four nylon ties to hold it on. It reduces the upwash of air under the bottom of the triple tree.

Thanks Rocket67. I appreciate that.

I hope to start getting some serious riding in next week. It's already the end of May and I've only got 2,400 miles on the bike.

I've got to get into riding shape as we plan our first trip to Sturgis this year.

I was thinking about that....not sure if I will have enough vacation to manage it. Definitely thinking 2015 for a trip up there but 1200 miles is daunting!!

Well, to add my 1 1/2 cents....don't really have any issues with the buffeting
with my baggers but, had a chance to pick up 2nd bike(FatBoy) & I drove it
from N.C. back home to Florida & WOW>>almost tore my head off !
it does have a windshield but, it is coming from under....bought the "fangs"
the other day & what a difference....I rode 80+MPH & really a big change...for
the Softail people>>HD parts catalog page 188...I had them on a RK about 20 years
ago & it works on that one too....good luck

Picked up a set today for my '14 SGS, and it seems they will not work if you have the daymaker aux. lights installed. Unless someone has done it and can give some tips. Harley dealer didn't seem to have it listed as a "won't work with....". Kind of pissed right now since I bought these on a road trip. Anyone know if you have to return to the same dealer you bought from?

I have a set of HD fork mounts for sale that I can not use since I have aux. lights installed. Bought them at a dealer 300 miles away from me and my closest dealer wont take them as a return since it has the mounting washer mark on the one I tried to install. If anyone wants to save a couple of bucks on a set and help me out please send me a PM.

Where's the interference in the mounting process? Pics?

Will the fangs fit between the Daymaker mounts and the forks? Seems a washer or two for spacing (?) and you might get them to work together.

Better yet, what Daymaker kit have you installed?
