I have been caught, a few times in the rain since I got my Limited. Every time the seat soaks up enough water. That you can squeeze the sides and water runs out of the seat, even the next day. It takes days for the seat to completely dry out.
Anyone notice that their seat is a sponge?

I ordered a rain cover for my leather saddle when I had it made. Looks goofy but I've never had anyone stop me and laugh in the middle of a downpour.

Try putting a sheepskin cover on your seat. They dry out much quicker than "days" and add comfort to the ride.

I just might have to go out and ride in the rain one day to check that out.

Every bike I have owned even the metrics had the same issue after a good soaking rain.
