Foregiveness or Permission

I've been married over 46 years, I suggest you don't go with the: I just bought you a 3K washer & dryer. It's for cleaning the dirty clothes not for her enjoyment. I'v always asked my wife even though we both had jobs. She hasn't always agreed. I used to think the same thing as you. I always thought I wouldn't make it to 25, because they way I lived my life. Then it was 30, 35, 40 & 50, when I got my **** together. I'm very, very lucky I'm a live today at 66+. It's your choice. Good luck.

I came home with my 2008, that didn't go over well especially with a few other bikes still in the house. My wife rides, we actually met on motorcycles but life was very different back then. I told her last summer I was starting to look at a new e-glide, she at least got the warning. As much as I love the RK and my FLHRC, I have a c-spine injury that's not getting better and the more wind protection I have the more I can ride. The RK was hell on me on the highway and it had mainly around town miles.

The first time any conversation about a buying another bike ever took place between me and my wife was after I had already pulled it into the garage. She's never had any problems with me doing it and pretty much expects to be surprised at any given time. It sure makes it easy for me! If your wife is giving you grief though, I'd definitely listen. It's not worth the stress on your relationship or bank account..
