Default Wind management

Hey guys, I have a FLHX and when I was riding at 75mph I get really turbulent wind coming up from the below. I put my hand down near my knee and notice that it stops. My question is has anyone else had this issue and will something like the hard lowers help?

I installed a taller shield, lowers and fork deflectors.

I have no turbulent wind at all....just a nice smooth stream of air coming at me.

I also added the fork deflectors along with the fairing mounted deflectors. Huge difference. I still get quite a bit of wind from where fairing lowers would be, but not enough to make me want them. The fork mounted wind deflectors made the biggest difference in my opinion. I also have the 6.5" Klock Workz windshielf, but wish I had gone the next size up. Wind is deflected off of my face but hits me at the forehead area, which with my helmet can get annoying at times.

I got the Klock Werks 8.5 and the fork mounted wind deflectors and my beard stopped flying up in my face. I'm waiting to get the fairing mounted deflectors for my SG because they don't have a kit for them yet. But, honestly, I may not even need them.

There's not a kit, but your shop can order the individual deflectors from the limited. I did this so I could add to mine. You'll need 6 screws - #10-24 x 5/8" torx

Part #s for reference:

57200012 - Air deflector asy, LH
57200017 - Air deflector asy, RH

You will notice a big change with the fork deflectors.

I feel the wind coming over the wind screen on my SG. If I duck down a bit I stop feeling the massive wind. A little is ok but I can't hear the stereo over 35mph. I would think if it was coming from under then I would feel/hear it even when I was ducking down.
