Default Boom 4.3 question

Ok, I am stumped. I have read the manuals and cannot figure out what I did to my system. While riding yesterday I was toggling through the various functions and somehow managed to set my media to a setting that does not allow the left switch to change the media up or down through the various presets or files. I can still scan and switch between presets on my tuner ok, but nothing happening with the media setting.

Any ideas?

Also, I found my Bluetooth for my phone seems to always be paused, and the power switch does not un-pause it like the book says?

Thanks for any help.

Not sure what happened, but I guess my first thought is to reboot everything by pulling your 50A main fuse. Let it set a few min and re-install. May or may not do anything.
The only other thought I have is that there is a setting for "classic mode". It changes the way the radio reacts. Not sure if that has anything to do with your issue or not. Look through the setup menu for classic mode and see if that makes any difference.

I suppose I can pull the fuse and see if that resets the radio to before I screwed it up...I am sure it is not a bug as much as an operator error.

I think there are other threads that suggest changing scan/seek/tune to make it work. I don't remember what they said, but your problem sounds familiar.

I don't remember that part about using the power button for pause and unpause. I have had that problem when another voice cuts in, like the gps, to often in a short period of time. The way I get it to unpause is go to the tuner and let it play the radio and then go back to media. That unpauses it.

The phone I used to have had a problem with pausing music over bluetooth. It played for a second and then would not un-pause ever. It also would not remain blue tooth connected. It was a very old phone and it was time to update anyhow. I did and my new phone works fine.

I have had this same issue I think it has to do with the presets, scan, seek, selection but I can never remember what it should be set at...

I can't remember the exact path to get there right now, but you need to go into menu, settings, and make sure it's set to seek, and not scan. Had the same problem when I inadvertently changed that setting.

Thanks for the responses, I will start working on trying them when I get home from work. Apparently MoCo didn't let ex-sailors do their R&D on these radios...we can break or screw up anything in short order.

Default Classic mode

Pretty sure that's your fix with seeking favorites. Go into settings and turn classic mode off. Should be able to seek through favorites again
