I'm probably safer running without ABS than running on Chinese tread. But thank you for the info. We have already ordered this tire but it's back ordered and hard to get. Will try it when it eventually comes in.

Vee's are made in Thailand, not China. LOL.

i bought a 14 denim blk SGS got rid of my 10 that i did a 21 on lowered front and rear..air bag etc.....i will not screw with the geometry on the 14 i want to however do red rims...
16 rear with stock tire and keep the 19 front tire on a red spoke rim...dealer told me i can use the stock rotors.which i went my rounds with the service guy and explained can on the back..but not the front...he insisited i can use stock rotors o the front..so ...the dealer is not my prefered choice on getting red wire wheels...lol anyone else out there have a spoked wire wheel stock rim size ? can it be done?

I dont have the paperwork with me but the dealer installed a new 18" tire and wheel combo on the back and this fixed the issue. No more light, no more code, ABS and linked brakes working correctly.
I will post a pic of the actual work order showing the parts they used later.
P.S. Dealer paid for the entire upgrade because they sold me this bike new with the 21" front wheel. I had them over a barrel. Now i just have to somehow get the dealer to amend the original build sheet so my extended warranty with wheel coverage covers the upgrade. otherwise i am SOL on that.

just to add to what hog pro said do not run a 200 on an 18 in the rear. One of my friends did and he has a bad wobble at higher speeds. The 200 on a 17 seems to work good. Two of my buddies said they think it even rides better than stock with this approach. I'll be going with a RSD 21 in the front with a 17 and 200 in the rear on my 14 limited.

You would think this could be compensated by new ABS sensor bearings. The ABS only knows the rate of rotation on the front tire by the bearing.

This my first post to this forum. I have been a big reader of the forum for a long time.
Tons of great information. Have been riding MC since 1970. Harley’s since 1987. I just bought a used 2014 SGS (had 2866 miles on it) that was completely customize (over $17,000) by the original owner who I’ve been told worked at a Harley dealer here in central Florida. It’s a beautiful bike. Was told he traded it in to my dealer for a new SE CVO. Was not told why. I had the bike for 2 ½ weeks. During that time the ABS light stayed on all the time except for three occasions when I started the bike up the light did not come on. When the light did not come on and I rode forward the first time I applied the brakes I had no rear brake. The rear brake pedal was frozen like it had been welded in place. No rear brake was applied to the rear wheel. Only by turning the ignition off and restarting did I get the light back on and regained control of the rear brake. The tech at the dealer took it for a test ride and the first time the rear brake pedal froze. He came back and said it was too dangerous to ride. They are trying to take care of the problem by getting a new anti lock bearing from PM. Waiting on parts as I write this. He did change rear wheel and tire to stock and ABS worked as expected. Front wheel PM 21x3.5 with a Metzeller 120/70 B21. Rear wheel PM 18x5.5 with Metzeller 200/55 R17. Both tires are Metzeller ME 880 Marathon. Now if I read the post right SouthernHD and HOGPRO says I might have another problem with high speed wobble. Now I think I know why it was traded in. I told the dealer I was sold this bike with a defective brake system and I expected them to fix it. They seem to agree. Also is it ok to put a 17in tire on an 18in rim? Also how much is High speed? Opinions would be appreciated.

(Also is it ok to put a 17in tire on an 18in rim?) Now think about it, how is this going to work ? You'd be better off going to a 19" front and leave the rear the stock size for now until someone comes up with a good safe solution. Keep the 21" and replace with identical front for now and ride the **** out of it.
