Definitely in on this thread. I want to do a 21" front this winter. My dealer told me the 21" will fit under a factory located fender, but leaves less than 1/4" of space. They had one customers tire pick up a rock and drag it along the underside of the fender, left a nice crease in the sheet metal had to replace the fender. Do you say fender relocation brackets are needed just to be safe, or because there's no possible way to fit a 21" under the factory '14 fender?

My update - Every time i go on the freeway or stay at or above 50MPH for more than a couple of miles consistently the computer throws a code and the ABS light comes on and stays lit. The ABS feature is disabled. Not sure if the linked brakes are still active or not as i have not tried it. The bike does not reset until i have stopped and restarted.
Because the 21" front wheel was installed by the dealer in the showroom before i bought it they are responsible to make it right.
Dealer has ordered an 18" rear tire and wheel for me and will be installing it next week at their cost.
P.S. dealer had installed the Hogpro fender brackets when they installed the 21" front end. Seems to have enough space.

Fender spacers ARE REQUIRED for 2014 models. Theres no way to run the stock fender without them without the tire rubbing. We include them with every wheel set we sell or you can buy them from us for $79 for chrome or black for the nice ones.

We have confirmed and tested with multiple bikes that this 130/60-21 tire WILL work with the stock rear wheel. We have already switched over to selling this tire for people installing just the front wheel.

Don't know why you wouldn't want the matching rear wheel just for the looks of it. I always shake my head when I see a bike with a custom 21", 23" or 26" wheel with the stock wheel on the back.

I agree with you 100% but sometimes the funds just aren't there for some people doing these mods... Usually they call back and order the rear wheel after a while.

I'm running a 23" on mine and still haven't found a solution to this problem. I've tried many different rear wheel and tire combinations. Nothing seems to work.

Default I think I may have a similar issue

I replaced my wheels on my 2012 FLHRC with a 21" front and stock sized rear. The new wheels came with new rotors. After having them installed I felt very rough stuttering in my front brakes; is it my ABS?

Try the Vee rubber 130/50/23 with an 18x5.5 rear and a 180/55/18 tire. This is what I was told will work with a 23".

So with the 21" front on 14 ABS linked braking bikes the Dunlop 130/60/21 will work with a stock rear wheel. We have set several up for customers like this without issue. So if you are looking to do a front wheel only let us know and we can get this done for you. ABS or not. Here at Hogpro we are committed to finding answers and solutions to all problems and issues related to wheel.
