I hear some on here say if you de-cat a Rushmore and leave the stock mufflers on they don't sound so good. I cant recall this as a problem on the 10-13 models. Any one know if the 14 mufflers are different in side in some way?
Like the sound of mine, plenty loud IMO wouldn't want it any louder but we all have different tastes when it comes to sound.
What I like is you still run stock mufflers so the muffler cops cant say anything when they check it out.
well, I think that it is the new cams that sound different as I have a decatted header and stock slip ons and they sound a little raspy. I changed them out to Klock Werks slipons and they sound like a healthy Harley should.

Unlike every other Harley I've owned that sounded like a washing machine running with the stock exhaust, the 2014 does sound good bone stock IMO as well...
...however, I did change to to some 4" cans from Rinehart...its is louder, but I'm not 100% satisfied... LOL
