Sorry if this has been asked before but I can't seem to find an answer. I am getting ready to buy a new SGS and I want to try to use an older set of lower fairings on this bike. A friend has a set of 08-09 vented lowers from an old bike that I can have for little to no money and all I would have to do is re-paint it to match the bike. Would these fairings fit up right with little to no modification or do I just need to bite the bullet and buy the ones designed for this bike.

As far as I know they should fit perfectly. The venting is different, but fitment should be the same.
