Thinking of going with S&S head pipes and Rush slash cut touring mufflers with the 2inch baffle. Combo was recommened to me by the dealership. Any opinions on how this would sound? I want it to be decently loud when I get on it but dont want to wake the whole world up and would like to still be able to hear the radio without having volume maxed out. Sound like this combo will work for me? Thanks

That's a very popular baffle size for your setup. I would agree with your dealership and also recommend the same. Here is a link to what the different baffle sizes sound with our true duals.

I recommend the 1.75" or 2.00" baffles. The 2.00" is most popular for your setup and the 1.75" is popular with riders that put on lots of highway miles and listen to their stereo. Check the bottom of the muffler to see if there is just one mounting hole in the back or two (one in back and one toward the front). If it has two mounting holes the part number will be 153412DB. If it has only one hole on the bottom back end, part number will be 153412. The 2.00" is 152012DB (dual bolt) or 152012 for single bolt.

Ryan,

My slip-ons have the one hole on the bottom back end. Do you still make the baffles for these slip-ons, as they seem to be difficult to locate any? I guess they are an older version but they still look like new.

Thanks,

We still offer them. It's the same part number without the DB at the end. I don't think anywhere stocks them so they will have to be ordered.

Well.. I was able to smuggle a set in, stickers and all.

I absolutely love the mufflers. I had CFR's w/ a full stage one on my 2013 Road Glide, and I like these better.... on the stock 2014. Not quite as 'deep' as CFR's, but still thump you in the chest. It sounds like a classic Harley (potatopotatopotatopotato), but deeper. Can't say enough about them.

The video doesn't do them justice. The new cams give it a real 'lopey' sound:

Thanks, Ryan. If I can't get any ordered I'll get back with you. I noticed you don't have them listed on the Rush website so didn't know if you made them any more, plus no one has them in stock.

Thanks Again,
SugsPa
