Default Pulled main fuse now no power

So, this weekend I installed the detachable tour pak kit on my limited.
Pretty easy install but this morning when I put the main fuse back in to check lighting I got a small arc and no power to bike, fuse looks good and no pinched wires that I can see. WTF did I do?

You must have a short somewhere, I'd double check all the wiring

Fuse LOOKS good?? Check the continuity across the fuse spades with an ohmmeter to make sure it IS good. That would be step one.

If you check continuity across the fuse I bet it's blown. Or of you have a test light you could probably use that to check for 12v across the fuse.

Well I was able to take another look at it this morning and check connections and wiring, everything looks good, nice and neatly tucked away.

So, I put fuse back in and turned ignition back on and everything is working fine. Yesterday when I went to turn ignition on it was in steering lock position,
I don't want to tell you what I think happened, but I will. I believe I turned the ignition from lock position only to the off position, yep! Only thing wrong with this theory is with ignition in off position the security light was not flashing, wondering if the system needs time to boot up.

Cabin fever!!
