Did the radio shack siren install & it works fine. Just cant seem to turn off the chirp mode for arming & disarming only. Followed the manual page 120 using the ignition switch method, tried it a few times & no luck.

Anyone else been able to do it.

 

I've been able to switch mine back and forth. As I recall, you have to do it pretty quickly, quicker than I'd of thought. I do have the HD siren but I kinda doubt it makes a difference. It definitely took many tries before I figured out the 'touch' to make it work.

 

I dont think I can do it any quicker but I'll Try

 

I'm gonna wear out the damn ignition. Makin ne crazy.

Did you ever get an answer if chirp mode can be disabled with a Radio Shack alarm
as opposed to the Siren II from HD?

I tried everything to no avail.

I have the Siren II , the volume on the chirp is so low, makes no diff to me.

 

Does the 14 UL have chirp mode setting?

Yes RevRaz, the 2014 Ultra Limited has the chirp mode change sequence listed in the owners manual, but it doesn't work. I'm assuming there has to be a Siren II there and not an aftermarket one for the instruction to work..

 

I followed them to the letter, can't get mine to chirp.. mine is stock
