I just put $200 down on a 14 King with ABS in dark red. Dealer is trying to locate but they may need to order.
My 11 King has done me right and shes a great bike, but the Rushmore thing got me. This is a new dealer to me and the guys I ride with. I have to go 70 miles to get there, my 11 King dealer was 49 miles away so not a real big deal on that part.
I have a local dealer near Lansing but I don't like them because of there service. My new dealer Perry HD so far seems pretty cool. Perry is the oldest Harley dealer in the State of Mi, I think it started in 1925 or so and has always been family owned. Time will tell how good they are.

You're gonna love that new bike. I got one in November , mysterious red sunglo, ABS and security system. My local dealer had to go out of state to get it for me. Seems like the Road Kings are a little scarce a lot more SGS around. Good Luck.

They did me right on my new 2014

I loved my 09 road king
But this is my last harley so wanted to try 2014.

I got my next to best price from Brighton last week. They are about 52 miles from my home I'm just North-West of Lansing. I find the drive down to Perry HD much easier. Perry and Brighton was the only 2 of the 4 that I went to that was dealing. The other 2 was well over $1000 more on the exact same deal.
Odd how some will deal and some won't.

 

I wanted to buy local...but taking the price to dealer he laughed and said he would go out of business selling for that! I thought How can a dealer an hour away sell for that and not go out of business? So my price difference was at least $1500...so gotta do what you gotta do.
I wanted to deal local....just couldn't for the price.

Up-date
Got the paper work done today, so now they are trying to locate. I told them today I didn't want them to spend to much time locating because if they wait to long to order I might not have it yet when and if this Winter from hell ever ends.
He said by the end of this coming week they will order it if needs be.
