Default Compare Rushmore RK to prior RK ride

I am looking at either a slightly used or possibly a new RK and was wondering for you pre Rushmore RK owners that are now on a new 14 RK how the ride compares to say a 12 or 13 RK? I know about the new bags but was wondering how big a difference the fork changes and engine upgrades compare to the prior version? Trying to determine how much I will lose if I go with a 12 or 13 RK. Hope to ride a 12 or 13 this weekend. I've already test rode the 14. The ride was nice. Thanks.

I love it, but. 2 things that always bugged me, mid range passing power, the way the saddle bags open. Rushmore fixed both of them. Got to admit that if the Mo Co had not did the 14's I would keep mine, cam it and strip her down and have it painted.
My 11 King has 22000 trouble free great miles on it. I think the 09 - 13 are great bikes, but for me I would like a little up-grade.

I rode a very low mileage '13 and a '14 back to back before I went for the '14.
The '13 had slip ons, air cleaner and had been dyno tuned.
They seemed to me to run about the same as far as power. The '13 might have ran a little more cleanly in terms of throttle response which I would have expected given the tuning.
The things that really tipped the scale for me were the improved bag opening, I liked the looks of the new wheels a bit better, the linked brake system and I hoped that the improved front fork would mean improved handling (couldn't really tell from the short test ride.), and I wanted one in mysterious red sunglo.
I don't think I would have been unhappy with the '13 but I could get a '14 and I do think there are some improvements so I did.
