I was reaching as bad as before but higher. It felt worse than original if anything. I rode the bike home and decided to angle them back. I used these pictures as a guide to disassemble the fairing and rotated the bars down and back, then rotated the grips as much as possible. I took the bike out for a ride after changing the angle and have a position that I can live with. Perhaps the sweeps would have been a better selection.

Im sorry to hear that , every shop i know will call the customer into the shop when the bars are on the bike to allow for a final adjustment before tightening the 4 bolts holding the clamp.

Thanks Smokie...I ordered the bars today and won't have them until next week. Just concerned because the ultra low has smaller diameter hand grips according to advertisements. Does this mean my grips won't work? More important....the twist control.

If anyone was wondering, I have confirmed with the dealer that the part number for the reduced reach bars for 14-15 batwing touring bikes is 55800305. This is the part number for the handlebars on the limited low and limited ultra.
