Hello all,new to the forum and I thought I could pick some brains here.I recently purchased a new Street Glide.I am looking to do a stage 1 on her. Here are my thoughts.Go with the Vance and Hines Power duals matched with CFR slip ons.A Arlen Ness Big Sucker AC and a TTS Master Tuner. Then have it put on a dyno. What do you think of this set up?Thanks a lot.
Good components. Just be aware that the sound level. I installed the Vance and Hines Power duals with the Freedom Performance Racing Slip-Ons. I couldn't heard for a day. Went back to the stock slip-ons with the Vance and Hines Power duals. Still loud for me. It will be interesting to see the numbers after the dyno. I ride too many hours to have a loud bike.
I had a 2012 Road King with the vance and hines power duals and the vance and hines monster ovals.I am looking for something a little deeper and louder. Thanks again guys.
Lots of opinions on here.Do your homework, and if moneys not a problem thats a good combo you have there.I will suggest Fuel Moto setup, Knowledgeable people,Quality products fair prices and the best service around.
Sounds like a great combo that should net you about 10hp and 13ft tq according to most dyno'd I've seen on the 14's stage one with quality components. If you like the deep harley sound the Power Duals/CFR combo should give you exactly what your looking for!
I know it's not that popular on here but I went with the Power Comander 5 and am loving it. Still running a downloaded map, looking forward to a dyno tune in the spring.
Thank you very much guys,I'm a firm believer in picking other people's brains and getting their opinions. Now I just have to save a little and get the parts then off to Doc's I go.
