Wild1 Wo577 on a Limited
Since I am putting them on a "Rushmore" I figured this was a good place to post.
I'm in the process of getting the Wild-1 WO-577 12.5" handlebars for my Limited.
They way I see is best to use extended lines for the clutch and brake. I have two choices:
Buy all Harley
WO577 Wild 1 12.5 handlebars(not harley, but part of the quote I got)
37200040 HYD CLUTCH LINE,DIAMONDBACK,76.50IN
41800425 KIT-BRAKELINE,UPR,D'BACK,0DEG,28.5IN
for a total of $340
Or through Phat Performance
WO577 Wild 1 12.5 handlebars
1741-0304 Magnum 78” Sterling Chromite II (+4) Hyd. Clutch Line 180° 31178
1741-0383 Magnum 29” Sterling Chromite IIHyd. Brake Line 180° 37629
for a total of $316
I'm leaning to the Harley as i has the correct "puzzle" connector for the ABS.
Wiring is not a issue as I make cables for computers and sensors on heavy equipment, most of it CAN.
Question is: Am I missing anything?
Thanks

I went with Magnum on the upper brake line and had to piece together the clutch line. The HD ones had a 0 degree banjo fitting on the handle bar end. they hang straight down and didn't like the look. I went with 45 degree banjos from Magnum and Russell. They hug the bars and are almost invisible if you go with black ones. If you call Magnum they will give you the p/n for the fittings or just look in Drag Spec., JP or whoever you get your parts from.
Hope that helps.

I put a set on for a friend and I'm going to be putting the same set on for myself when I get the funds. I've run these bars on two bikes in the past as well. Great bar.
You do not need new brake or clutch lines. Do recommend longer (NAMZ) control wire harnesses.
The thing about using the stock lines is the angle of the banjo fittings as 'eviltwin69' alluded to. They work but stick out.
When I get to mine finally, I'll probably use stock lines until I obtain 45 degree fittings on new cables later. Maybe.

If you want behind the fairing, try the WO578. It's a 10".
