What about when abs activates? usually the pedals changes a little. Mike

Nothing that I've noticed.

There is absolutely no clearance issue with the Softbrake pedal - not even close, even under ABS-hard braking.

No problem with the stock pedal for me.

Has anyone tried the new sb0149+1w. It is 1 inch longer and moves the brake pedal out 3/4". It is used with the 3/4" floorboard spacer and works with bikes with lowers. I'm tossed up between this setup or the standard sb014p. Any input is appreciated.

The +2" looks to be a godsend for my size 15's!

Im with you on this one. My foot has always tended to hang off the front of the floorboard, by an inch or two. So having the 2014 where it is, actually works better for me as the tip of my foot goes under the brake peddle more easily. And I suspect this is actually the reason they moved it in 2014. Default Absolutely love my new Softbrake brake pedal!

I have arthritis in my joints and I had to lift my foot/leg off the floorboard to apply the rear brake. After a few hours of riding, the pain in my joint was very uncomfortable. I just installed my new pedal and I really have no words to describe the difference. Well, one word. Painless. I can apply the brake whilst keeping my heel on the floorboard!

I kept getting my boot caught under the stock pedal and it was an un-natural position for me to lift my toe up that high to apply the brake.

The Soft Brake is perfect for me, much closer to what I was used to with my 2002 Fat Boy.

Not only that, in a panic stop situation, who the hell wants to loose seconds extracting their boot from under the freek'n brake pedal ?

This is the +2" pedal, with my size 15 boots. SO much better than having to pull my skis out from under that damn thing:
