Is it as easy as removing and/or losing the three screws that hold the windshield to replace it or is there more to it?

That's all there is to it. Very simple. Takes a min.

Good info. I think I will go that route before I change the shield. I like the look of the stock shield.

I rode up to 85 mph in heavy winds into and out from and these shields rock. I may buy a higher LRW but now there is no need. Also I love the look of the deflectors which are high quality chrome pieces.

Does anyone know if the fork mounted wind deflectors work with the vented lowers? Thanks.

Default 2014 SG buffeting

5"11, LRS 9", stock seat.
Over 80 the buffeting was pretty annoying. Even with the 9" WS. I opened my visor and tried stretching up and then crouching, no difference. Not much spill over the top of the WS reached my eyes or helmet.
So I stuck my hand under my chin, fingers forward of the helmet, parallel to the road and it diminished pretty fast.

Not wanting to insult the Italian Americans I drive buy, I ordered the JES fork deflectors.

Thanks for the info. I am 5'8 and I have some buffeting. I installed the 10" and found it that it is to tall for me. I like deflector option.

Default Added fangs

They look kinda Fugly but work well. Up to 90 mph and no buffeting to speak of.

Had to bend them to clear the motor crash bar.
